Barry Keoghan dances around the Joker’s future in Matt Reeves’ Batman universe. Nosferatu and Mortal Kombat 2 get some very unsurprising ratings. Plus, Yellowjackets returns for season 3 with some perfect timing. Spoilers now!
Thunderbolts*
During a recent panel at D23 Brazil (via Comic Book Movie), David Harbour confirmed Lewis Pullman is indeed playing Sentry in Thunderbolts*.
Yeah, I don’t think he knows what to make of that. I mean, again, we’ll have to see how it unfolds with all of that […] I don’t think you guys know much about Bob/Sentry yet, so you’ll have to see what that becomes in this movie. I don’t want to give too much away.
Spider-Man 4
According to a new report from The Cosmic Circus, Spider-Man 4 plans to film under the working titled Blue Oasis.
Joker
Speaking with Josh Horowitz on Happy Sad Confused, Barry Keoghan remained noncommittal over recent rumors that his take on the Joker would get his own Penguin-style TV series.
Again, you know, it’s iconic and to the people performing it, you know, it’s just iconic performances and it’s a big one. But I am going to say that, you know, if the opportunity came about, yes I’d love to explore and, given that opportunity, really dive into it. But, I’ve not been contacted and I’ve not heard anything so I can’t, yeah.
Nosferatu
Nosferatu has been rated “R” for “Bloody violent content, graphic nudity and some sexual content.” [Bloody-Disgusting]
Mortal Kombat 2
Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 2 has also been rated “R” for “strong bloody violence and gore, and language.” [Bloody-Disgusting]
Untitled Star Trek Sitcom
Tawny Newsome provided Collider with an update on the currently untitled Star Trek workplace sitcom she’s developing at Paramount+.
All I can share with you is that we keep writing it, and we keep turning things in, and they keep saying, ‘Please keep writing.’ So, as long as they allow us to do that and they don’t say, ‘Stop. Close your computers and go home,’ we’ll continue making it. And yeah, as long as they don’t tell me, ‘Please shut your laptop and throw it in the sea,’ I will keep working on it. It’s been such a joy. I love Justin Simien with all my heart. I can’t wait to hopefully keep doing it.
