Apparently, that Xbox Live Vision camera that was sold from Toys R Us was actually meant to be sold. A reader says she went to Toys R Us and spoke with a manager, who said select stores in LA, NY, and other major cities are selling these a month early in order for Microsoft to test market the new camera before it’s widely sold.

She also says that the managers and store employees don’t know which stores have them in stock, so they can’t help you. Are any readers in the LA or NY area and can run down to their local TRU and let us know if it’s in stock?
Well, it looks like they’re all over ebay, going for around $100.
