Iraqi Sensor Jammin’

No, this isn t Bob Marley-style jammin’, this is hardcore combat radar jamming. Raytheon received a $15.5 million bid for their IED Countermeasure Equipment (or ICE system, yes, that is an acronym within an acronym, and yes, the universe is going to collapse upon itself). The device, roughly the size of a large gym bag, is used as a radio frequency jammer to prevent bombs from being remotely triggered. To be used in Iraq, each ICE costs $12,000.
