Golf is an annoyingly frustrating sport to play, but it can also be one of the most relaxing—if you’re any good. So I can’t imagine the type of mental fortitude needed to even hit a ball in this elaborately trippy shooting range built for professional golfer Rickie Fowler.
In preparation for the 95th PGA Championship that tees off this Thursday, Fowler and his caddy Joe Skovron headed to the Uline Sports Arena in Washington, D.C., which was converted into a “psychedelic driving range.” With its projection-mapped targets and laser light show, the incredibly ridiculous and elaborate course appears to change with every shot on target. Fowler’s targets ranged from 45 to 78 yards away.
Must be nice to have a sponsor that builds you crazy-ass shit like this.
