The long and short of it? Shoes. Keeping your feet dry is apparently priority number 1 (aside from not being sucked hundreds of feet into the air to a horrible death). And you need a wetsuit, since you can get hypothermia in 80-degree weather if you’re constantly soaked and being beaten down by angry winds. Or you could just run away like a normal person.
