Now that CES 2024 is done and gone. I think it’s safe to say that there was a lot of news out of Las Vegas this year. Thankfully, we’ve got all the important announcements listed below.
AI was a big talking point this year, and we saw many companies find a way to jam, uh, I mean, integrate AI into pretty much everything from fridges, cars, and, uh, Mario? We even pretended to be a Ramen Bounty Hunter to some AI game NPCs.
AI in cars has also been a big theme here at CES. We checked how BMW is working with Amazon to use AI to diagnose issues with your car because it knows you’re probably not reading the owner’s manual whenever the check engine turns on.
So far, the coolest things I’ve seen are LG’s massive 77-inch Signature Series OLED T with a transparent panel and the C Seed N1 Foldable TV that looks like it belongs at the MoMA. However, if you’re looking for tech, you can actually buy we had a lot of fun with Alienware’s new curvy QD-OLED.
Even though Apple isn’t at CES, it didn’t stop the tech giant from making news by announcing that it started accepting pre-orders for its very pricey Vision Pro headset launching in February. Sony also announced its own headset to rival the Vision Pro, which features a flip-up visor.
In the world of cute robots, Samsung’s Ballie is like having your own personal BB-8 droid from Star Wars. It’ll even keep an eye on your pets and project videos onto your walls.
As the Gizmodo consumer tech team recovers from an eventful show, be sure to check out the best, coolest, and weirdest gadgets from CES 2024.
