The Mummy

THR now has word Laia Costa (The Wheel of Time) has also joined the cast of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy in an undisclosed role.


James Bond

Following recent reports, Amazon has now confirmed that Amy Pascal and David Heyman will take over the Bond franchise from producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson at the studio. [Variety]

Speaking with Deadline, Gwyneth Paltrow stated she “thinks [she] might” reprise her role as Peper Potts in another MCU project sometime soon.

Deadline reports Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World) has joined the cast of the upcoming Handmaid’s Tale spinoff, The Testaments, as Shunammite, a “pampered teen from a prominent Gilead family whose status affords her a certain level of respect and power amongst her peers.”


Ghosts

A “wisecracking 1940s screenwriter” woos Sasappis in the synopsis for “His Girl Shiki,” the April 3 episode of Ghosts.

Pete makes good on his promise to find someone for Sasappis by bringing in a wisecracking 1940s screenwriter who also has the ability to roam, on the CBS Original series GHOSTS, Thursday, April 3 (8:31-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
