AI Search Overviews to Everyone Starting This Week
To start off the conference, CEO Sundar Pichai announced that, finally, AI overviews in Search would be rolling out this week, starting with U.S. users. It will eventually make its way to more countries. For the last year, the Search AI has been exclusive to those in the Search Generative Experience beta, but now everyone will get to see AI results pop up first for all their queries. Whether or not they prove helpful is another question entirely.
