It only took a couple centuries but the top military dogs in the world have finally taken a hint from good old George Lucas and have begun development of combat robots (or droids, as the Star Wars geeks would say). Some smarty engineers over in Seoul won a bid of $32.4 million to develop these fighting robots over the next six years. The robots will have six or eight legs and be Rambo’d out with weapons galore. They will be controlled by a combination of remote-control and AI.
